DXL script for Linking modules in Doors

Hi,

I need to link the modules in Doors. I have a scenario like this...

In a project, I have one formal module..in which 2 sub- sections are there.
I need to link between these two sub section using DXL scipt.

Project -> Formal Module -> 1. Section 1 and 2. Section 2

In Section 1 we have sub sections and sub-sub sections and same in Section 2.

Now I need to link the sub-sub section of section 2 with sub-sub section of section 1.
Can you please help me with the DXL script for the same.

Regards,
Vivek

In the help file look up link by attributes -- this may be easier approach for you.

I think you are asking how to link an object in section 1 with the corresponding object in section 2, based on their paragraph 'number'.

e.g. link object "2.5.3.3" to object "1.5.3.3".

If so: this outline may work: get the "string Para = number(o)" for all objects in the module and store them in a Skip. Then for all objects in the Skip if the first character of its paragraph is "2" then build a string replacing it with "1" and look for that object in the Skip. If found create your link.

Be sure to turn off showing deleted objects as otherwise your paragraphs may get renumbered. You may want to find existing such links in your link module and either preserve them or delete them as needed. If you want to only link Headings I suppose you can restrict storing into the Skip only those objects that have
if (null (o."Object Heading" ""))
